Since update v1.8.2 (Jan 2020) for REVELPROG-IS there is possibility to write also protected transceivers (if you know manufacturer password). Since version v1.8.2 there is also search password tool which allows in some cases to hack password using brute-force method. It is possible to read/write module in MSA standard, change configuration area (manufacturer name, part name, serial number, configuration bytes etc.) , calculate checksums and write new config to the module. You can make compatible any OEM manufacturer module with your ethernet device, e.g. buy OEM module, programm it with other manufacturers config and make compatible with any router.
