    TORAH SCROLL BIBLE VELLUM MANUSCRIPT LEAF
    250-300 YRS OLD FROM MOROCCO.

    You are bidding on a large and rare [MANUSCRIPT] undated Bible Scroll. from the book of Genesis . The scroll came from Morocco and is Handwritten in the original Hebrew Script on  deer parchment and is approximately 250-300 yrs old . This Scroll came from a Moroccan synagogue , it is prized for its beauty of its soft deer parchment and its beautiful writing. The parchment holds its ink well and the letters remain black and easy to read. The scroll has a beautiful warm golden brown color, like scrolls that come from early North African origins. This deep color is due to the process used in making the scroll, this process ages to a deeper brown color over the centuries. Torah Fragments like these are extremely rare and seldom seen in synagogues or available due to their age.
    The condition:
    The Torah Scroll considering its age is well preserved and in good condition and will stay beautiful with care for centuries to come.     Abram, receives a divine command to go to the land of Canaan. He came with his wife Sheri and his nephew Lot to the land, and even built an altar and called on the name of the Lord, but the famine forced him to go down to Egypt. Pharaoh's servants take Sheri to Pharaoh's house and Abram presents her as his sister for fear of his life (Sheri is really his nephew). Gd touches Pharaoh with severe afflictions, and as a result he frees Sheri and sends Abram out of Egypt with great possessions.
